Arrive Ngurah Rai (DPS). Transfer to Seminyak โ 45 minutes. Afternoon at leisure on Seminyak Beach. Evening sundowners at Potato Head Beach Club, La Plancha, or Ku De Ta. Dinner at Sarong or a Warung Italia-style local joint on Petitenget Road.
Drive 90 minutes inland to Ubud. Morning at Tegalalang rice terraces โ photo stops, Bali Swing (optional), Alas Harum. Lunch at a rice-terrace cafe. Afternoon: Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary, Ubud Royal Palace (Puri Saren), Ubud Art Market. Evening: traditional Legong or Barong dance performance at the palace with gamelan accompaniment.
Pre-dawn 2 AM pickup for the Mount Batur trek โ 2-hour hike up the active volcano (1,717 m) with headlamps to watch sunrise break over Lake Batur and Mount Agung. Descend by 8 AM. Breakfast cooked on volcanic steam. Stop at Toya Bungkah natural hot springs. Afternoon: Tirta Empul holy water temple (ritual bathing optional) and Gunung Kawi rock temple. Return to hotel for spa.
Choice: (a) drive to North Bali for Ulun Danu Beratan water temple on Lake Bratan, Handara Gates photo stop, Jatiluwih UNESCO rice terraces, or (b) relaxed day of spa and beach club. Lunch included. Evening: Uluwatu Temple sunset Kecak fire dance performed on the cliff above the Indian Ocean โ surreal.
Option A: fast boat to Nusa Penida (30 min) โ Kelingking T-Rex viewpoint, Angel's Billabong, Broken Beach, Crystal Bay snorkel with manta rays (seasonal). Option B: stay in Bali โ surf lesson at Canggu, Tanah Lot sea temple at sunset low tide. Evening: grilled seafood on the sand at Jimbaran Bay.
Late breakfast. Shopping in Seminyak Square, Krisna Oleh-Oleh for souvenirs, or a final beach swim. Afternoon transfer to DPS. Check-in 3 hours before international departure.
